Tom Adams (The Mountaineering Club Orchestra) is a multi instrumentalist composer, producer and songwriter based in the UK. He recently composed the OST for the Universal Pictures feature film 'The Knife That Killed Me'.

'In The Constant Noise' was recorded outside very late at night using a small hand-held recorder. On each recorded layer the sounds of wind, rustling leaves and other natural reverberations can be heard in the background. By emphasizing and celebrating these imperfections, the idea of silence in a world where high noise levels are the norm is explored. The result is a set of songs that, whilst each telling their own story, are unified in a melancholic lament for the sounds that have been lost in the constant noise.

This Social Coil was created in spring 2011, founded in Nordrhein-Westfalen - Germany.  It´s hard to describe the music direction exactly. It´s something between post-rock, indie and alternative, instrumentals and vocals.  The influences are coming from post-rock, post-punk and typical alternative sounds. Lyrics often treat philosophically typical thoughts of the life.

Once described by Undertheradar as "properly abstract, terrifyingly beautiful", New Zealand sonic rock architects Sora Shima have been quietly (or perhaps not so quietly) honing their "dark and dreamy" instrumental craft since 2006. The fiercely independent group have self-released 3 EPs, a beautiful 10 inch vinyl 'Empress' and an ambitious longplayer entitled 'You Are Surrounded' (2014).

Sora Shima's debut album has finally arrived. You Are Surrounded is the culmination of years (almost 7...) of struggle - from studios being struck down by lightning just hours before the band were booked in, to scraping and restarting the recording process several times, all the while losing and gaining band (and family) members along the way. There were wonderful, small victories followed by major setbacks. Days turned to weeks, eventually months - at times the odds seemed insurmountable. But they did it.
