Leeds / Leicester / York, United Kingdom based six piece Her Name Is Calla (formed in 2004).

Their 2008 released album, ‘The Heritage’, was described as ‘a masterpiece of modern music ’ by the Sonic Dice and the band described as ‘one of the most daring, unconventional bands the UK has to offer’, by Drowned in Sound.

The band have released a number of highly acclaimed singles and EPs and their latest album ‘The Quiet Lamb’ during summer 2010 via Denovali Records. They're about to release a new EP call "Maw" for their European Tour.
