Moanaa was founded in 2008 in Bielsko-Biala, Poland. The band plays music that could be categorized as post-metal and psychedelic. "Descent" is their second release and debut album. They have shared the stage with bands such as Rosetta, City of Ships, Jarboe, Nachtmystium and At The Soundawn.

Just thought I should drop in and mention that this album is well worth listening to. Moanaa draw heavily from Isis and still manage to paint an original soundscape of their own. Lost in the Noise is a true standout and a gem of a song.
