Three Way Plane is a three piece (?) band from Athens, Greece which was formed at the end of 2003. They try to be open-minded and create music spontaneously through jamming and improvisation. Therefore they combine their ideas and write music for their songs.
Stratos and Dio write lyrics talking about anything that distracts their minds.
Music is something like a drug for them and they don't give a fuck in being categorized but you could say they are playing something between indie noizy rock and post-hardcore.
In 2006 they released our EP "Bright Days" in DIY terms and the song "My Best Friend" was also included in the second Spinalonga Records compilation: "In The Junkyard Vol 2".
Debut LP entitled: "give us somethiing new to shout" was released in May 2010 from Spinalonga Records.
Since April 2011 they have a second drummer! Don't ask why..long story.
Just think something inbetween of At The Drive-in meets Shellac meets Jesus Lizards meets Fugazi meets Clash.

The critical success of the band's 2007 EP The Absence of I elevated Meniscus's profile globally with rave reviews from The Silent Ballet (“Beautifully crafted and impeccably conceived....very good doesn't quite sum this up, it's amazing”) and Sputnik Music (“Meniscus have a wizardly sense of dynamics, songs flowing with the purity of water....technically brilliant and tightly composed”).
Despite this success, the departure of drummer and co-founder Duncan Wilson forced Meniscus into hiatus in 2008. In early 2009, founding members Daniel Oreskovic (guitar) and Alison Kerjean (bass) made a comeback to the live circuit with new drummer Cameron Brennan, showcasing new songs and arrangements.
In late 2009, friend of the band, Marty Wong joined the band to mix visuals during live performance. Marty’s tasteful use of different visual themes for the bands live shows provided an extra texture and added to the cinematic style of the music. 2009 was rounded off with the band playing at their first music festival – The high and dry festival which was definitely a highlight of the year for the band.
In 2010, the band spent a great deal of time working on new material and recording demo versions of the tracks that would later be recorded professionally by Ash Maklad at Eargasm studios and mastered by Paul Stefanidis at Viking Lounge mastering.
2011 looks to be a very exciting year for Meniscus, with the release of their first studio album entitled “war of currents”. The new album was officially released on July 15th and Meniscus will be taking their new music to several cities around Australia soon after.

After the release of their 2009 full-length, "Thresholds Of Imbalance", Battlefields lost founding guitarist Andrew Wallin, and went on a brief hiatus from playing shows. "Agassiz" is the band's return to the trenches with two new members and a more sonically assaulting blackened blend of metal and hardcore. Agassiz blasts through six songs in under a half-hour, presenting a concept EP of the glacial lake Agassiz, whose dried up geographic location is where the band's base of operations lies. Fans of the band's previous work my be taken aback by the sheer force of this new material, with pummeling blast beats, but there is still the familiar sound throughout the EP that Battlefields has perfected since it's conception in 2006. Agassiz lyrical content deals with when Lake Agassiz's ice dams broke and rose sea levels, destroying the old world, and setting up the new world for corrupt religious control. Featuring artwork and layout by Seldon Hunt.

With a computer at his fingertips and a mind full of ideas, Pierre-André Pernin started Näo in 2002 as a one-man project, joined later by the drummer Thibault Fellmann, the guitarist Jordan Daverio and the video designer Matthieu Tercieux. So in it’s current form Näo comprises 4 members.
The band's musical influences range from Amon Tobin and Nine Inch Nails to Krush or 65daysofstatic - over the years Näo have gone beyond these influences to amaze audiences at already a hundred concerts and festival appearances in France and Germany with their unique, previously unheard sound. At the studio as well as on stage, Näo develop and shape melancholic and aerial music, exploring moods from contained rage to lyrical digital outbursts. Like a surgeon, Pierre-André meticulously crafts mesmerizing melodies and down-tempo beats.
His penchant for synthetic layers and for skillfully chiseled keyboard compositions gives his' music a unique and strange atmosphere, progressively immersing the listener into Näo's world. To this already enriched enchantment Thibaud and Jordan add their rhythmic impulses and abrupt riffs, creating a mixed beast of electro-noise, melded with brute, highly energetic guitars and spliced with elements of post-rock, metal and IDM into something very unique and powerful.
With Näo the album, Näo the band presents a mesmerizing combination of playful electronica and anthemic, impulsive rock elements. Join in, and be warned - their electronic odyssey has only just begun...

In 2008, Tympanik Audio introduced the listeners to Integral, an esoteric duo from Germany, and their debut album ‘Rise’. With a very personal approach to a wide range of multi-layered and hauntingly beautiful compositions, ‘Rise’ proved to be a gem in the Tympanik catalog and a highly appreciated aural experience for its listeners.
As we all waited patiently for a new album, Integral began sifting through their minds and hard drives seeking the origins of their creativity. The results of that search took on the title of ‘The Past Is My Shadow’, eighteen unreleased and newly mastered songs that expertly construct the foundation for what would eventually become the Integral we know and admire today.
From their earliest beginnings, David and Rafael seemed to have a firm grasp on the tone and direction they wanted for Integral. Songs originating from as early as 2002 up until post-‘Rise’ 2006 manage to sound as bright and purposeful as if they were just recently produced. Each selection on ‘The Past Is My Shadow’ reveals a rich collage of sounds and ideas, with a level of depth and intricacy that is uncommon these days. Beat-driven and rhythmic, but never overpowering, with vast swirling ambiance, layer upon layer of dense atmospheres, poignant melodies, and a smooth complexity that allows the listener to uncover new levels of aura with each ensuing listen.
In David and Rafael’s own words, “For us, this is the real debut album… a release of the past and an opening for the future. We invite you to take a journey with this album and find your own place somewhere in this universe of sound.”

Label: Denovali Records
01. End Of An Era
02. Where Summer Thrives
03. Fallen Angel
After a collaboration record with Fragment. from France and the self titled debut full length, 'the End Of An Era' constitutes the third release of Iroha – the new project consisting of Andy Swan (Final), Diarmuid Dalton (Godflesh, jesu) and Dominic Crane (The Boaty Man, Rumble Fish).
The 4 tracks (with a total playing time of 25 minutes) express their love to shoegaze just as much as their interest in the sound of new wave acts like New Order – all this mixed with a metal orientated sound basis and little ambient influences. Iroha have a great feeling for melodies and know how to combine them with powerful sound elements to create a fuzzy warm mood in every new track.

01. Our Ceasing Voice - For Darkness Fears The Light
02. Satory - The Translator
For Darkness Fears The Light poses the deeply moving return of Our Ceasing Voice after the success of their debut album 'When the Headline Hit Home'. Striking vocals and powerful drumming enable the band to dare the leap and take their ambient based tunes a step further, while retaining the outfits's full melodramatic force.
Originated in a time of change, Satory's track, The Translator, defines an important turning point in the story of the beast that was introduced in their 2009 EP. Expressive heaviness and valleys of hope constitute their new sound, bringing the powerful machinery back to the post-metal front.

Immanu El started as a musical experiment in 2004 by 16-year-old Claes Strängberg, soon joined by his twin brother Per and old childhood friend Emil Karlsson. The ambition has, ever since the start, been to create something captivating and beautiful - and the ways of achieving this have been evolving differently. During the first year, while studying in high school, they started to create music in an old barn in the countryside outside the town of Jönköping. The first demo 'Killerwhale EP' was sold out, spread all over the world and the band got the chance to make numerous shows around Sweden after being selected as "Rookies of 2005" by Hultsfredfestivalen. After finishing high school the band signed with And The Sound Records, moved to Gothenburg and got two other friends who joined the band, David Lillberg and Jonatan Josefsson. The debut album "They’ll Come, They Come" was released in 2007 and was followed by the first tours in Europe the next year.
Together with the labelmates in EF, the band took over And The Sound Records, made it completely independent and runned by the artists themselves with licensing- and distribution partners all over the world. The second album "Moen" was released in late 2009 and the band continued to focus on making live shows all over Europe. With more than 150 concerts in 25 countries for the last three years, the band has gained a growing reputation to be one of the most promising bands from Scandinavia today. As a result of hard work, heavy touring and two well received albums; established magazines and medias (Visions, Metro, Vice, Uncle Sally's, Vodafone Live, Eclipsed and many more) also started to pay attention to Immanu El.
With a lot of new inspiration and experience from earlier adventures, the band started to work with a third album, called "In Passage", that was recorded in the summer of 2011 together with the old friend Kristian from pg Lost in Norrköping. The release date was set to October 29th with tours following in Europe during winter and spring 2011/2012 as well as a first tour Asia in beginning of 2012.

01. Explosions (Through The Eyes Of Mañu)
Sugar Factory were created in 2009 by Stelreverb (guitars, samples) and Sophie K. (accordion, bass guitar, samples). Inspired by the ad-lib contemporary music and the melodic lines of Greek and foreign artists, they blend 'sweet' melodies while winking at industrialized sounds.
