Avantgarde Music is proud to present the self-titled debut album of a brilliant newcomer named Saule. Saule was formed in Poland in 2015, which has come to have the most creative and ever-surprising extreme metal scene of any European country - and for underground music, in general. It is incredible the amount of new bands and great music that this country is giving to fans for the past 15 years - and let's not forget the past! - both in metal, post-rock and prog metal fields.

And that's precisely where Saule comes in with the album Saule. The band's formation process and search for the proper people took about two years, and it resulted in a carefully crafted debut album recorded during the late autumn of 2016 in Satanic Audio. A work of vast vision and rigorous repose, the sound across Saule is focused around post-metal and post-rock genre, but strongly deriving from black metal and acutely coated in subtle ambient echoes. 

Given Saule's rather brief existence and minimal experiences so far (although they've already made their live debut with landmates Thaw and others), the band presently prefers to keep a minimalistic outlook and would love to let the music do the talking. Open your ears to Saule!

Born in 1980, Wojciech Golczewski is a polish composer who began writing music in his teenage years. Though he studied fine arts, both at an arts high school and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, he decided to focus his professional efforts entirely on music. Golczewski’s musical career started in the European demoscene, an art subculture where artists show off their programming and musical skills. Following a career in composing for video games including PlayStation 3 titles like Linger In Shadows and Datura, the composer scored his first feature film with Eraser Children, an Australian sci-fi. His other recent scores include the Norwegian thriller Dark Souls, the Icelandic crime thriller City State, werewolf film Late Phases and last year’s We Are Still Here, which was nominated for the 2016 Fangoria Chainsaw Award for the Best Horror Score .

Relay_Sat_01 is a free (pay what you want) bonus EP with take outs, demos and alternative parts from Wojciech's Reality Check and The Signal albums.

Spoiwo is a post-rock band from Gdańsk, Poland.
This album is the last I heard for 2015, but I think it will enter my TOP 20 list easily! I'm listening for post-rock for 10 years now and all I have to say is that this album is one of the best I ever heard! They reminded of why I listen to post-rock all these years! It's emotional, it's ethereal, it has great melodies, great cover and it gives you the chills! It deserves to stand among great post-rock bands like Red Sparowes, God Is An Astronaut, This Will Destroy You, Explosions In The Sky etc and it deserves to be heard by everyone! Do yourself a favor and listen to this gem!

Tsima is a post-rock/metal band from Poland. After releasing their debut EP "Juniper" on 2013, they left us wanting more and what a great way to fulfill our hopes for an amazing debut album.

"Shatter" released on December and let's just say that I regret that I didn't listened to it earlier. This album is a must-listen!
