Chewing his paws off trying to escape. Stuck in traps for days, animals die slowly and sorely, long before the hunter comes. You need 18 foxes to make a furcoat.

About an album in short: The message isn’t straightforward. Anti-utopias are always multi-faceted. Our work is based on a story about a fox and human cruelty, but if you dig deeper, you’ll uncover hidden parallels about witch hunts; people of faith are always offended by the existence of those who don’t share their ideas of the bible. They build the cult of the righteous; the hierarchy of power leads to punishment of those who oppose the views of the majority. As a rule, people give themselves the right to decide who lives and who doesn’t. The world isn’t just black and white, even separating situations by shade is subjective; it is also true when people judge, harm or kill on the grounds of difference. Primarily, the band leans not towards the cult of ideas, but the cult of sense and frugality towards everyone and everything. We don’t appreciate cruelty towards animals and everyone surrounding us. Two post-metal / sludge bands from two completely different, even rival in the past, countries, overcame any language or distance barriers and released an amazing 30 minutes EP.

My long time favorite Destroy Judas contributed a 16 minute long beast with crushing riffs, tempo changes and the necessary "post-rockish" melodies, everything a great post-metal track needs!

To be honest I didn't knew about Io Apreo, until today. I was really impressed with their two tracks on this EP, as they continue from where Destroy Judas left it, even their the bizarre "opera" part, and I'm intrigued to check their whole discography.

Kauan started by Anton Belov (Helengard, Inea) in February 2005 and up to this moment had changed their name and genre - they started as a folk black band, then moved to the direction of doom, rock and ambient with their sophomore album, and could now be considered as a ambient post rock/metal band with big influence of Pink Floyd.

After the release of the first album, "Lumikuuro" (BadMoodMan Music, 2007), Alexander Borovikh (co-founder) left the band and right after that Kauan recorded their second album "Tietäjän laulu", which was released by BMM Music in the late 2008.

In late 2009, Kauan released their third album, "Aava tuulen maa" (Firebox Rec, 2009). At this point the band changed their genre to atmospheric folk rock, post-rock with sad and melancholic variations which has always been a distinctive mark of Kauan.

In summer 2011, Kauan released their 4th album "Kuu.." (Avantgarde Music, 2011) which contains 4 long tales in different atmospheric genres from post-rock to ambient.

Lubov Mushnikova left the band, and Kauan recorded their 5th album "Pirut" in 2013, released by FIN/USA label Blood Music. In 2015 the same label released their 6th album "Sorni Nai".

This is the second album 'Loud to Sleep' from Jet Plane, a Russian instrumental rock band who are able to clear the wasteland of post-rock music with a cold and bleak sound like a Russian killer winter. Once you hear the opening track 'Laurel Trees/21 Guns’, or the album title track 'Loud To Sleep’, which feature the fantastic sound of a bagpipe that is a musical contribution to the band’s originality, you will be able to find that they are worthy to be called a Russian Godspeed You! Black Emperor. In addition, the fifth track 'sundog' sets a standard of instrumental rock music that is a masterpiece in no way inferior to Mogwai’s 'Two Rights Make One Wrong'.

Their stoic sounds are created by minimum amount necessary of music instruments such as guitars, bass and drums, and accented with bagpipe, violin, and glockenspiel. This album includes only 7 tracks, but it can be said that this chronicle story with 60 minutes is 'The most beautiful punk music in the world’, created in the 'Lost Generation' of the present day.
