Mass Culture, formed in 2011, is composed from four individuals, coming from Tripolis-Sparti-Athens, Greece.

Each member has had its own musical path and identity, but having common components and a wide appreciation for the music of bands such as Isis, Neurosis, Cult Of Luna, they decided to start up a band somewhere along those lines.They started, however, experimenting and incorporating further elements into their music, varying from the post-hardcore outfits of Time To Burn and Buried Inside, to the doomy sound of Yob, with a Fall Of Efrafa/ Downfall Of Gaia dark neocrust feel, retaining the ambient/post-metal Omega Massif-like sound and, of course, many more.

Mass Culture released an EP and a split with Fields Of Locust.

In August 2018, their first full length album "Primal | Ephemeral" was released, with the help of Nothing to Harvest records and Sweetohm recordings.

"Sometimes music just happens. You turn the volume up and it fills the room up to the ceiling. You have written nothing beforehand and still it pours out like it was waiting for you to plug in. That’s what happened with this record. Me and Sakis just plugged in and “A Passage Through Hypothalamic Pituitary Adrenal Axis” came out almost in one go. There is an interesting concept behind that song. I like paying tribute to artists that inspire me but I don’t like doing cover songs. I like taking art and spitting it out as my own. That’s what all the vocals and spoken word are. They are lyrics from bands I like and poems from writers I love.

KATAXNIA is a punk / crust band from Thessaloniki, Greece. Κρεσέντο Απελπισίας (Crescendo Of Despair) is their third album and personally I was surprised that I didn't knew this band in my own city! Okay crust is not one of my favorite genres, but this album is definitely one of the best I've heard! Great production, great melodies and vocals! Don't let the language barrier keep you from listening to this, it's a real gem!

Afformance have formed back in 2005. Since then, they have appeared in numerous live shows in Greece, but also in Switzerland and Turkey (often supporting bands such as Grails, Jenniferever, Maybeshewill etc), they have done a mini tour with fellow Nechayevschina to promote their debut full-length “A Glimpse To The Days That Pass”. Giving an end to their short break that followed, the alt./post-rockers Afformance celebrated the release of their new single-sided 12" EP "The Place" (including the score of the same-titled dance/theater performance) with a tour in the Balkans and Europe which found them to share the stage of Dunk! Festival in Belgium with important bands as iLikeTrains, pg.lost, Balmorhea, Maserati, Kokomo, Kwoon and many others. They released a digital EP release including remixes on released and unreleased songs by close friends and themselves, which is available through their bandcamp page. Their second full length album "Through Walls" was released in 2015.

With a strong attention to the harmonic musical content and the rich ambience of their previous material, with a new more straight-forward musical approach and with a fresh apettite to present their brand new material to old and new friends, Afformance have finally returned more creative and more active than ever with their double release!

“Music For Imaginary Film #1” is the perfect description for the album’s content itself. “ A story of a man who's trying to escape from a big forest he is trapped in and in his way out solves out many mysteries about his self and an unexplored world that surrounded him. This is a metaphorical story about a person who is deserted in his micro-world unable to understand or think what is really happening in real life. These 8 songs unfold the mental and physical stages the main character passes through from the state of oblivion till the realization of his illness.”

“Pop Nihilism” is –just like the title itself states- an ode to darkness and introversion, embraced by a pop texture, and this is no surprise, given the fact that Afformance was always intrigued by the expression of such feelings and mental states. Being multi-faceted, darkling and mellow, “Pop Nihilism” is influenced and driven by post rock, indie, ambient, modern and classic pop music, and can easily be considered as the most mature release to date by this impressively talented collective, from Athens, Greece.

Tuber grew up in a sunny place, south of Greece, in an island called Crete. They were hiding from the sun, jamming in dark studios and playing their music in rock caves. As they moved north, sounds became lighter, since they started miss hot ground. Balance came as a result of smash, dark embraced light and improvisation turned into an effortless and instinctive process. Tuber moved their interest into new forms, founding themselves experimenting with compositions that combine mixed styles and sounds from different ground. Focus is now on rock aesthetic flirting with psychedelic atmosphere and a touch of romantic mood. At this time Tuber live in Serres, forming their feelings and thoughts into music and words, still learning how to leave with reality and reinventing it with love.

Allochiria is a post-sludge band from Athens, Greece. They were formed in 2008, and released a self-titled EP in 2010. In January 2014, they released their first full-length album, Omonoia. 

But on December 2016, Allochiria joined forces with Art of Propaganda for the release of the band’s second album, Throes. Having shared the stage with Deafheaven, Year of No Light, Altar of Plagues, and many more, as well as undertaking their first European tour in March 2015, Allochiria's live experience becomes readily apparent across the vast expanses of Throes. Although their music has often been likened to Neurosis, ISIS, Amenra, and Cult of Luna, Allochiria assert their own identity in the post-sludge realm with their deep exploration of very human themes. With Throes, its theme explores man as a social being, the corruption that defines him in modern societies, his vain struggles, painful routine, and the effect this has in the world around him. 

In that regard, Throes retains the same concept as Omonoia, which has man in its main area of interest. But this time, Allochiria's pursuit of that concept is angrier and more direct, making for an even more intense listen. Speaking directly to mankind, Throes expresses anger, pain, and agony in a higher degree; living beings are being killed, drowned, destroyed, and left helpless, and the rest either cause this or witness it. We mourn a little bit, and then go on with our lives - we are hopeless and weak. This is Throes, and Allochiria are guiding its maelstrom.

Kalpa is a five-piece-playing-loud collective located in Athens, GR.

Hailing from the dry south, Kalpa construct a devastating and at the same time an ethereal soundscape using for this an instrumental approach through distorted guitars riffs , heavy drumming , gloomy melodies and emphatic harmonies. Mainly influenced by acts such as Isis, Cult Of Luna, Tool, Neurosis, GY!BE, Kalpa developed a personal sound and structure. The band took its final form back in late 2012 and has since made numerous, powerful live appearances in Greece’s underground local scene. Kalpa strongly stand against Nazism/fascism, racism, sexism, homophobia, state/police violence and any kind of damage imposed from one human to another.

we.own.the.sky is an instrumental rock/metal band from Athens, Greece.They were formed in 2010, and while they started out as a band following in the footsteps of the greats of the post-rock genre, they slowly found their own unique voice. Their target has always been to bring together different elements from various sub-genres, whether it be ambient soundscapes or walls of distorted guitars, all in the form of beautifully crafted, melody-driven instrumental songs.

They self-released their debut EP, entitled "The Glass/Nails EP", back in 2013 which was met with great critical appraise in international underground circles. It also helped in getting them the support slot in the greek shows of some of the world's finest post-rock acts, including the likes of Caspian, Long Distance Calling and Tides From Nebula.

"Earths Collide" is the band's first full-length album. Recorded at Unreal Studioz in Athens and mastered at Fascination Street in Sweden by the legendary Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Leprous etc.), "Earths Collide" finds we.own.the.sky further expanding their musical palette; from faster-paced drumming to the use of acoustic guitar and electronic beats, this album is the next logical step for a band that seeks constant evolution, ignoring any restraints posed by music norms and genres. "Earths Collide" is available digitally, with a physical release following in early 2016.

Setting off on September of 2014, Creshna is the inevitable outcome of years of mutual respect, appreciation and love between its members. "The Fallout" is only the starting point on a series of events and sequences, taking place after The War.

When I first pressed play on this one, I definitely didn't expect anything like this!

The album begins with "I Will Tell You Tales", a great instrumental post-rock intro track and then comes "Canticle", which all of the sudden hits you with it's powerful vocals and before you realize what happened brings you down again. "When Heroes Fade" comes next with it's sludgy feeling to feed the listener's hunger for something heavier. "The Fallout" with a simple guitar melody and spoken words works like an intermission for what is to come. "For All I Know"is the best track of the album in my opinion, clearly influenced by Amenra, which is not a bad thing at all! "The Precursor" is the last track on this 35 minute journey, which is a powerful closure and leaving no other option, than press play again!
