Line Gate was formed in 2010 in Slovakia as a two-piece band (guitar, keys, violin). Since 2012 band has 5 members containing cello, keys, guitar, bass and drums. They play melancholic music based on influences of rock, minimalism, ambient, drone, noise and some other styles.

Split Lines is about the process of ending. Ending of a relationship between two subjects, between two parallel lines. About the thoughts that you can´t sleep because of, about the struggle between reason and heart, about the decision of leaving and about the sense of liberation.
